When I was a kid the idea of drawing cartoons for The New Yorker Magazine was a dream of mine. As I got older and realized how Liberal the magazine is I couldn’t bring myself to spend the years of submissions it would take to break into that market.
Originally The New Yorker had funny cartoons. The last time I looked they all sucked. The great cartoonists are gone, and everyone’s Woke. If that is true I don’t really know but it feels that way to me. I could never be a part of any Woke organization. I don’t want my work in any such publication because I don’t believe in it.
This is the first point of my current blog approach.. it’s all my opinion. I’m not selling a political position or a cultural position. These are my thoughts. You may push against them and that’s fine.
I am a Trump supporter. Pure and simple.
I am anti-abortion; I have my reasons for this. Your opinion may differ. I’m fine with that.
I have a different take on many Bible topics. I view Jesus as a man who was under-appreciated in his time. But a man all the same. He was called “the seed of David”, a direct reference to his human nature. I believe his beauty is in the fact he was human, and we could, “do as I do and more you can do”.
I’m tolerant of others’ opinions. I have no desire to control the world. I accept our differences. And in fact, I don’t want to live in a world where everyone is like me! That would be boring. Artists need diversity. And cartoonists need a lot of inspiration. The human condition offers a lot of laughs all around!
I believe students should pay their own fees. Taxpayers should not be taped for this. Taxpayers pay for a lot of other things. I’m not anti-tax, I’m anti-politician-corruption. There is way too much of it in our society. If you can’t abide by an agreement and pay your way I don’t think we have much in common.
I’m a free market guy, I have no interest in Communism. And Socialism needs to be limited and carefully monitored to keep the crooked politicians from getting creative with our money. Socialism seems to invite the politicians to bury their hands in the pot when the pot doesn’t belong to a single person but rather a large group of people.
For the past year or so I have been concentrating on coronavirus and vaccine videos. But quite frankly I’m sick of chasing the lies. But you can still find them here if you want to look at them for the time being. I’ll eventually remove them because nothing is guaranteed to be permanent here.
